FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you're questions are not answered below, please get in touch by booking a call with our support staff.
In most cases YES!
We work with both Plan Managed and Self Managed NDIS Participants. Unfortunately, we cannot invoice to NDIA (Agency Managed) Participants.
You can claim our services under the "Carer/Parent Training" line item which comes from the Capacity Building- Improved Daily Living budget.
If "Parent/Carer Training" isn't specifically mentioned in your Child's plan, that's OK! The NDIA assess the request based on the following questions:
1. Is it reasonable and necessary? We provide education, training and support for parents and carers of Children with Autism. The NDIS absolutely sees this as reasonable and necessary. (NB- you don't need to have a diagnosis of ASD to join our program).
2. Is it good value for money? You get access to hours of training, as well as lifetime access to our 24 hour support group, which includes certified coaches.
3. Does it work towards the participant's goals? It is helpful if your child's plan includes goals relating to emotional regulation, improved behaviour and mental health.
Also to note: The carer/parent training line item number we use can be used with both ECI and NDIS plans.
The Program runs for 6 consecutive weeks. It's intensive and there is daily bite-sized information and tasks. HOWEVER, the last thing we want to do is add to the stress! Because our Program provides LIFETIME access, you can circle back around to the content ANY TIME that suits you.
You will receive:
Total Course time is 27 hours
We have helped children from toddler age up to young adults and everything in between. The education you receive in our program spans all ages (even including you adults).
While it is true that the NDIS does not pay for future services, our Program has no end date as you gain lifetime access to the Membership Portal. Therefore, we cannot bill at the conclusion of the Program, as there is no "end date".
We satisfy the NDIS requirements by giving you immediate access to the course content upon payment of the invoice. You can access it any time, however we still go live on the appointed start date for each live round of the Program.
Our Program is facilitated by multiple coaches all of whom are qualified OT's, Educators and Melillo Method trained Coaches. Our Head Coach Josh Davison has a Bachelors in Health Science and Graduate Diploma in Education (secondary). He is also a member of IAFNR (Interdisciplinary Association of Functional Neurosciences and Rehabilitation). Throughout the Program you will receive support from a number of other suitably qualified coaches. You can check out our coach bio's here.

Before working with this girl, she would have about 3 meltdowns per day and they were so bad her mum had to put away their knife block in their home. 4 weeks into the program her mum said the past 4 weeks have been SO different to the past 10 years! Her mood swings had gone right down and there had been ZERO meltdowns since starting the program!
3 weeks into the program, his teachers have told me they have noticed big improvements in his focus and calmness.
My son used to lose it at school regularly, to the point where I would have to come to collect him early. After completing the Program, I have only been called ONCE to pick him up early for the ENTIRE TERM!!!
School and mum have noticed a huge improvement in behaviour since starting the Program.
School pick-up is not a nightmare anymore! I can't remember the last time he had a screaming, kicking tantrum. I even take him to the shops now. It's like our life has become calm and we can do normal things as a family now.
I am amazed at the results for my 15 year old. She was having meltdowns 30+ times a day and it's now maybe once a week. She doesn't like touch at all, but has actually been asking us for hugs occasionally, it's so lovely!
